Pindax is a message board system that allows staff, or a group of users to post stickie notes in cyberspace for others to view and collaborate. I made a library notice board with my free sign up and it took me just a couple of minutes. One can post text, images, files, polls and tasks in real-time. Use the Widget and API to integrate into your site. Get notification when there are replies. Take a look at the bottom of my blog to see the embedded version.
